How Much Does it Cost to Sponsor a Job?

Sponsored Jobs are priced on a pay for performance model, with charges incurred only when interested job seekers click on a Sponsored Job.

To sponsor a job on Indeed, specify a “daily budget”, which is the average amount you’d like to spend per day to promote your job. There are no contracts, so you can stop sponsoring or change your budget at any time.

Daily Budgets

There are three important things to understand about daily budgets:

1. Actual daily spend will vary

Your actual daily spend will vary depending on the number of clicks received on the job. For example, when your jobs are shown more often, your cost on any one particular day might be more than the average daily budget selected above.

Your daily budget is the average you’ll spend per day over the course of a month, if you run your job for an entire calendar month.

2. Daily budgets are based on averages

For ads without an end date: When you set your daily budget, we set a weekly spend target of seven times your daily budget (for seven days in a week). Due to traffic fluctuations this may mean spending more some weeks and less in others.

We’ll ensure that you’ll never spend more than 7.5 times your daily budget per week. For example, If you set a daily budget of $10, we will target your spend to $70 a week but you'll never spend over $75 per week ($10 daily budget x 7.5). 

For ads with an end date: You will spend no more than your daily budget multiplied by the number of days until your end date. For example, if you set a daily budget of $10, with an end date of 14 days from now, the maximum amount you'll spend over the next 14 days is $140 ($10 daily budget x 14).

3. Daily budgets recur automatically until you stop them

Your job will continue to be sponsored on Indeed until you stop it. You will only be charged for clicks received on the days your job was posted. You can stop at any time, by changing the status of your job to “paused” or “closed.”
