Editing a Job

It's very easy to make edits to your Sponsored Job on Indeed. We recommend that you read Writing effective job titles and descriptions to ensure your jobs are optimized to achieve the best results.

Individual Updates

To edit your job details:

1. Visit employers.indeed.com and sign into your account
2. Click "Jobs" at the top of the page
3. Click “edit job” below the job title

From the edit screen you can:

  • Edit your job title, location, job description, budget, and job status
  • Use our text formatting options such as bold, italics and bullet to enhance your job's appearance. These options can be found above the Job Description field
  • Change the status of your job to Open, Paused or Closed using the status drop-down menu located beneath the job description

Note: Paused Jobs remain visible in your dashboard. Closed jobs are hidden but can be retrieved by clicking "Show Closed"

Bulk Updates

1. Visit employers.indeed.com and sign into your account
2. Click "Jobs" at the top of the page
3. Select checkbox on left hand rail for any job you wish to update

Status:

  • Select Open, Closed or Paused
  • Confirm your status changes by clicking OK

Budget:

  • Two options to choose from; add budget or set a monthly budget per job
  • To add budget, choose one of the recommended budget amounts ($100, $200 or $300) or choose a custom amount. Be sure to click Add Budget.
  • To set a monthly budget, choose the amount you'd like to spend per month then click Set Budget
