Q: When will I be billed?

A:Your Indeed billing cycle begins once the credit card you provide is approved.  An initial hold may be placed on a new credit card for $1.00, based on your issuing bank's requirements. Typically, this clears within three business days. You can only provide one credit card per account.

Typical Billing Cycle:

Your balance is the total cost accrued for all Sponsored Jobs posted to your account and contacted resumes.

  • Charges will be immediately processed once you reach $25 (USD), and again at each $500 (USD) increment
  • Any outstanding balance will be processed on the first day of the following month

Q: I was charged $25, what does that mean?

A: Indeed operates on a post-pay billing cycle. A one-time charge is immediately processed once you reach $25 (USD) as a new user, and again at each $500 (USD) increment.

Q: How does billing for Sponsored Jobs work?

A: Indeed operates on a post-pay billing cycle.  Any outstanding balance will be processed on the first of the month for the previous month’s accrued charges.

Q: How does billing for Resume subscriptions work?

A: Your billing date for Resume charges is defined as the day you make your first Resume subscription purchase. You can choose between a monthly and annual subscription and will be billed on this recurring date moving forward.

Q: I closed my jobs. Why am I still being charged?

A: Since Indeed operates on a post-pay billing cycle, any outstanding balance from the present month will get charged to the credit card on file on the first of the following month.

A: It is possible that you have an outstanding balance from the previous month. Since Indeed operates on a post-pay billing cycle, any outstanding balance from the present month would get charged to the credit card on file on the first of the following month.

Q: My credit card info is not being accepted, what should I do?

A: Please check to make sure the billing address and zip code entered matches the exact billing address and zip code listed on your most recent credit card statement. If issue uploading the credit card persists, please contact your respective card issuer.

To stop accruing charges, please log into your account and pause or close out all jobs. Please note, any outstanding balance will be processed on the first day of the following month.

Q: How do I update my credit card information?

A: To update your credit card information:

  • Visit www.indeed.com/hire and sign in.
  • In the upper right-hand corner, click on your email and select “Payment Method”.
  • Once here, you are able to update your credit card information by selecting the “edit” link.

Q: Can I change my monthly billing date?

A: Billing dates cannot be changed within your account.

Q: Can I change how much I’m charged each month?

A: The amount you are charged each month for sponsored jobs directly reflects the charges that you accrued in the previous month. You will also be charged at each $500 increment at the time of accrual. You can make changes to your job postings at any time.

Q: I cannot access my account. How do I reset my password?

A: To reset your password:

  • Visit the sign in link in the upper right-hand corner of any Indeed page.
  • Click "Forgot your password?" at the bottom of the login box.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Click "submit."

If the email address you enter is associated with an Indeed account, you'll receive an email with a password reset link.

Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.

Be sure to click the link as soon as you receive it - it's valid for 24 hours.

Q: How do I access my billing receipt(s)?

A: To access your billing receipts:

  • Visit www.indeed.com/hire and sign in.
  • In the upper right-hand corner, click on your email and select “Billing”.
  • Once the page loads, click on your email again to select “Billing History”. By default, this page will show charges from the last 90 days.
  • On the right-hand side of the page, change the date range to display previous charges.
  • Click the hyperlinked invoice number to display your receipt. This link will be available after a payment has been processed.
